jackie non core rant 03

Has anyone been in that one classroom on the second floor of SCI. It’s a bit in the middle of the hallway next to 207, and it’s an obscenely large classroom with a circular wall of televisions stacked on top of one another every which way.

I wanted to point out that, on seeing this for the first time, my classmates and I reacted in three different ways: one cited a movie scene where there was a similar semicircle set up of screens, the other tried to recall the phrase of what this set up was actually used for, and I suggested we innovate the television viewing experience and turn each on but have them play something different “for efficiency sake”.

Only one of these responses was regarded as a joke, but how many of us would personally vouch for that kind of personal technology? Granted we already have some form of that; broadcasted programs often ask you to interact with them through a second or third screen in some way implying attention is shared for efficiency. But one TV for one program, meaning a hundred TV's equals a hundred programs all at once.

Would Game of Thrones make more sense if you played every episode at the same time?
